The brands Autumn Winter 2016/2017 collection has been released and I think it's fair to say I'm in love with it already. The website states the collection is "alive with cascading blossoms, lazer-cut butterflies, dewy tulle sheaths and metallic dragonflies" and that is certainly what the collection delivers. The collection has an earthy feel with the use of butterflies, flowers and natural elements. This connotes the idea of the connection that human has to nature, which is further shown through the designs. There is also a feel of 70's nostalgia as smocking dresses and oversized hats are included into the collection.
I personally think this collection is stunning, its natural tones of colour promote this idea of nature and the materials used create a flawless, elegant finished look. I love that the collection has used tulle (a soft material like net) to create these dresses as i feel it really adds to the beauty of the dresses and makes this overall a stunningly elegant collection.
