Burgundy - My New Favourite Colour

As the season of winter has drifted upon us, the typical dark tones of clothing have been pulled out from the back of our cupboards and are now being placed briskly on to our bodies. This includes the beloved knitted jumper. Brought out every winter, we all have that one jumper we just cannot throw away, even if we do accidentally on purpose over indulge in our shopping trip. However, personally this Christmas season I have become particularly obsessed with burgundy, not just jumpers but anything I can get my hands on, skirts, shoes, nail vanish, you name it, I probably want it.

Starting with anything I can get my hands on, the 'Sabrinne Ribbed Velvet Bodycon Dress' from boohoo.com is both cheap and chic. At only £15 this dress is a must have for them winter blues. With Christmas quickly approaching this dress will not only be the blanket to your pigs but you'll be the envy of everyone you see.

Perfectly matched to this is Forever 21's 'Embellished Faux Suede Heeled Shoes'. Although they're not burgendy,  at just £25.28 these make the dress not only look fabulous, but gives it a fresh and flaunty look, making this dress great for any Christmas parties or any occasion in the foreseeable future.

Burgendy coloured fashion trends continue to inspire me this season and will definitely continue till its time to bin the knits!

Motorway Fashion

Have you ever seen a road sign and thought it would make a lovely skirt? Fashion weeks trend setter Anya Hindmarch had that in mind for her inspiration for her new line of motorway clothing and accessories.

Anya hindmarch's Autumn/Winter collection includes everything you would see while speeding along the motorway. Her fashion includes road signs of round abouts, road works ahead and no U turns, she even included britian's favourite roadside restaurant Little Chef that has been around since October 1958.

Surely her experimental and whacky fashions will make a big mark on the fashion industry following her website putting the fashions up for sale. The prices of these one off garments are pretty expensive, with the leather stickers starting from £35 leading up to £12,000 for the 'no mobiles short fur jacket', however I think this is totally worth it, if you've ever wanted a national speed limit bag.

Quick and easy slushies

Carbonated Slushies

The English summer has briskly fled and we are beginning to enter the season full of warm knit jumpers and cosy nights in counting down the days till Christmas. However we can all reminisce about our short lived summer, can't we? This fuss free recipe makes it easier than ever to reminisce about those warm summer nights!

Ingredients:
  1. Any bottle of soda e.g. Coca Cola, lemonade etc.
And that's all you need!

Method:
  1. Firstly shake your un opened bottle of soda until the air bubbles form.
  2. Place your bottle into the freezer for 3 hours (or slightly less depending on freezers temperature) this will cause the liquid to reach freezing point but it has not been left in long enough to freeze.
  3. After removing your soda from the freezer unscrew the cap fully and quickly rescrew. Tip the bottle ups side down and up right again and watch the magic happen.
  4. Finally pour the drink into a cold glass and enjoy!
